Searching for applications in BlackBerry App World

To search the entire catalog of items, complete the following steps:

On the Featured Items screen, press the Menu key. Click Search. Type the name of an item or the keyword that you want to search for.

To search for items by category, complete the following steps:

On the Featured Items screen, press the Menu key. Click Categories. Click a category type. If necessary, type the name of the item that you want to search for.

Note: Some applications might not be available for the following reasons:

The application is not supported on a BlackBerry® smartphone model The application is not supported on a particular version of the BlackBerry® Device Software The application is not available to a specific wireless service provider The application is not available in all countries

Support for third-party applications purchased using BlackBerry App World

Support for third-party applications that have been purchased or downloaded using the BlackBerry App World storefront is available through email messaging.

To access customer support, complete the following instructions:

For BlackBerry App World on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet

Open BlackBerry App World on the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Select the application for which support is required. Tap Support in the upper right corner of the screen.  The vendors support email information will be displayed.

For BlackBerry App World on BlackBerry smartphones

From the My World screen

If the application has already been downloaded, a support option is available on the My World screen. Select the application, press the Menu key, and click Contact Support.

This will open an email message pre-populated with the vendor's support email address.

From the Details screen

If you have not yet purchased the application, a support option is available on the Details screen. Select the application, press the BlackBerry menu key, and click Contact Support.

This will open an email message pre-populated with the vendor's support email address.
