When a delegate creates a calendar invitation, selecting a distribution list of which either the delegate or the organizer is a member, the results can be unpredictable. The organizer may observe the meeting arriving in the Microsoft® Outlook® client, then disappearing there and on the BlackBerry® smartphone.
Review the following information from Microsoft for recommendations on meeting requests.

Be careful with distribution lists (DLs).
Try to avoid sending meeting requests to DLs, particularly ones that you are a member of. If you need to invite all the members of a distribution list, expand the list in the To line before sending the request. If you need to add or remove attendees from a meeting request that you already sent to an unexpanded distribution list, do not expand the list and start adding or deleting names. Instead, cancel the meeting and create a new one.
Avoid inviting distribution lists to meeting invitations and instead invite individuals by expanding the DL.
